Job Description
The
Senior Manager, Commercial Water, East Region is responsible for leading the East region within the Commercial Water Team. This role leads a team of direct and indirect reports covering from Florida to Maine with P&L responsibility for delivering growth KPI’s for Rheem Commercial Water. The Sr. Manager will set strategy and drive accountability within the team and be the primary interface with key customers. This role collaborates with the broader organization, Marketing, Demand Planning, Pricing, Finance, and others to support the execution of initiatives that deliver results.
This position will serve Rheem’s US
Commercial Water Business and requires up to 50% travel. The ideal candidate will reside in the
East Region.
Responsibilities
Leadership – This role will lead, build and develop an innovative team who know how to think and partner strategically to exceed goals.
Execution – Works with market launch teams to ensure cohesive plans are established and seamlessly launched.
Collaboration– Drive coordination across teams in a matrixed org structure; uses substantial sales/go to market knowledge to meaningfully inform business needs and guide execution.
Communication – Drives effective communication of account direction, objectives, and performance across the region.
Forecast – Provide forecasts and projected expense budgets designed to attain sales and profit objectives.
Program Management – Align rebate and related incentives/programs across the region to ensure consistency and good financial performance.
Results – Ensure key targets/drivers across markets and on the aggregate are aligned to overall P&L expectations; Evaluate market performance to KPIs and recommend actions to drive further progress.
Strategic Planning: Knowledge of sales principles, processes, techniques and tools; ability to develop sales plans that are future-oriented, support business strategy and reflect understanding of emerging, as well as existing, opportunities and markets.
Sales: Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and differentiating support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.
Customer/Market Focus: Deep understanding of shifting market
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree - Business Management or Engineering or related field and 10 years minimum of prior relevant experience.
- Lead a regional team with both direct and indirect reports with responsibility for culture and team development
- Actively support the professional development of subordinates by providing necessary training programs and timely evaluations.
- Create strategy and tactics to drive growth within the region with strong execution and delivering team accountability.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing large, complex accounts.
- Ability to build consensus on key division strategies and programs.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and engage with senior-level stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others is a matrix team environment.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute account plans that drive business results.
- Knowledge of Division’s customers, markets, and channels.
- Must be capable of analyzing, interpreting, and communicating data.
- Demonstrated skills in business planning and customer analysis.
- Ability to work independently and make informed defendable decisions as they relate to customer, pricing, and strategies.
- Experience in conducting business/affairs at the executive level.
- Must be capable of presenting information and responding to inquiries from internal/external customers.
- Experienced in developing and managing budgets.
- No travel restrictions--Must be willing to travel extensively up to 50%.
How To Stand Out
- Master's Degree - Business Management or related field
- Water/Plumbing and HVACR Industry Experience
- Experience in Sales Strategy a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results at all levels, regardless of reporting structures.
- Proven record of managing multiple projects on time and within budget.
The pay scale for this position in California, New York, or Connecticut is 123,036- $214,272. Please note all pay ranges are broadly stated and any final offer is dependent on factors such as location, direct experience, market guidance and internal equity, among other qualifying criteria.
