Full Stack Developer (PHP + React)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications across various software languages.
• Contribute to the design, architecture, and scaling of our platform to incorporate new features.
• Collaborate and innovate with both technical and non-technical team members.
• Work closely with Product Owners to analyze requests and develop requirements.
• Engage with other software developers, system architects, designers, and stakeholders to drive project success.
• Present ideas for system improvements and enhancements.
• Attend regular team meetings (4x/week) scheduled after 5 PM CET.
• Be available for overseas business trips (maximum 2 weeks, 1-2 times per year).

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience in full stack web development with a strong focus on front-end development.
• Advanced knowledge of the LAMP stack, with deep proficiency in PHP 7.
• Proficient with version control systems, especially GIT.
• Solid understanding of database technologies (relational and NoSQL) and web development.
• Strong knowledge of front-end markup languages including HTML5, CSS, and SCSS.

Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science or Software Engineering with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software development (7+ years preferred). Alternatively, a minimum of 7 years of professional experience if no degree.
• Experience working in a Scrum team or in a highly collaborative environment, with a proactive approach to driving projects forward.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented design patterns, with a focus on efficiency, legibility, testability, and maintainability of code.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership over timelines and deliverables.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience working in a global environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in JavaScript and frameworks such as React, and jQuery or Angular.
• Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel.
• Experience with the WordPress platform and other open-source frameworks/CMS, including custom theme and plugin development.
• Experience in application design and architecture.
• Familiarity with ES6, Webpack, Gulp, NPM/Node.
• Knowledge of tools and technologies including Jira, REST API development, Redis, MongoDB, Oracle, MySQL, and Apache Solr.
