ServiceNow Software Developer - Secret Clearance Required

Opportunity:

IMG seeks a ServiceNow Developer for a remote role supporting our customer in Washington, DC. The job functions are as follows: 

• Review requirements and existing functionality of legacy applications (programmed in Visual Basic for Applications, VB.NET, ColdFusion, DBXL, etc.) as assigned by manager; develop migration plan to recapitalize using the ServiceNow application Platform; upon approval, execute transition and support user acceptance testing
•  Improve existing end user documentation or write new documentation as needed for migrated applications
• Review DISA requirements for database hardening (STIG/SRG), evaluate current database posture and ServiceNow platform operational requirements, and create a plan to close gaps or documents deviations.

Salary: $85,000- $125,000

Experience and Skills:

• Experience in MySQL database operations / management and DISA STIG configurations, preferably within a Linux environment (RedHat Enterprise Linux or equivalent)
• Experience in JavaScript/ECMAScript, AngularJS, and Bootstrap; experience using these technologies within the ServiceNow application platform 
• Experience in using C# and Visual Studio Tools for Office to interface with web-based REST APIs
• Experience in all phases of the software development life-cycle in adherence to buyer-specified development processes and methodologies, to include: requirements development, design, coding, testing, documentation (within the programming environment and for end users), operation, and maintenance.
• Experience performing the above with limited management oversight, independently and/or as part of a small team

Clearance: DOE L or DoD Secret clearance required

Education: Bachelors Degree preferred in relevant concentration

Years of Experience:  Minimum of 5 years' recent experience in a role with similar responsibilities
