Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Palo Alto Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working with Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) and will be responsible for creating and managing firewall policies, ensuring they meet security standards and best practices for data center migrations. The role also includes managing global configuration policies, patching, and upgrading Palo Alto firewalls.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement firewall policies that adhere to security standards and best practices for data center migrations.
• Manage and maintain global configuration policies for Palo Alto firewalls.
• Perform regular patching and upgrading of Palo Alto firewalls via the Panorama management platform to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Monitor firewall performance and security, identifying and resolving any issues.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of firewall systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for firewall-related issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technology advancements related to Palo Alto firewalls.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Certified Palo Alto Engineer (PCNSE or equivalent certification).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Palo Alto NGFW.
• Strong understanding of firewall policies, security standards, and best practices.
• Experience with data center migrations and managing global configuration policies.
• Proficient in patching and upgrading Palo Alto firewalls.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
