Committed to improving patient outcomes, we are seeking a talented and experienced Freelance Medical Affairs Manager specializing in CNS to join our dynamic team.

Job Description: As a Freelance Medical Affairs Manager specializing in CNS, you will play a crucial role in driving the medical strategy and ensuring the scientific integrity of our CNS product portfolio in France. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will provide scientific expertise, strategic insights, and leadership to support the development and commercialization of our CNS therapies.

Responsibilities

  • Medical Strategy: Develop and implement the medical strategy for CNS products in alignment with global and regional objectives, ensuring the scientific rigor and medical accuracy of all medical affairs activities.
  • KOL Engagement: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and academic institutions within the CNS therapeutic area, serving as a scientific resource and fostering collaborative partnerships.
  • Medical Education: Lead the development and execution of medical education initiatives, including advisory boards, symposia, educational programs, and scientific publications, to enhance healthcare professional understanding of our CNS products and therapeutic areas.
  • Medical Information: Provide accurate and timely responses to medical inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, and internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Clinical Support: Collaborate with clinical development teams to provide medical input into clinical trial design, protocol development, and data analysis, as well as support investigator-initiated studies and post-marketing studies within the CNS therapeutic area.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, and Sales to ensure alignment of medical strategy with overall business objectives and to support the successful launch and commercialization of CNS products.
  • Scientific Leadership: Stay abreast of scientific and clinical developments, competitor activities, and market trends within the CNS therapeutic area, providing strategic insights and recommendations to inform decision-making and drive innovation.
  • Compliance: Ensure all medical affairs activities comply with relevant regulations, guidelines, and ethical standards, including but not limited to pharmacovigilance, medical information, and promotional practices.


Requirements

  • Education: Advanced degree in life sciences (MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with a focus on CNS disorders.
  • Therapeutic Expertise: Deep understanding of CNS disorders, including neurology, psychiatry, neurodegenerative diseases, and/or pain management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific information to diverse audiences.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities, with a demonstrated track record of driving results and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including KOLs, healthcare professionals, and cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
