  • Competitive Daily Rate Contract paying from 90,000+ - $110,000 + Superannuation

This global technology giant is expanding it’s support engineer function after a multi-billion investment into their Data and AI function in Australia. This role will give you the opportunity to upskill in SQL Development, Database Administration, and a variety of other technologies! You will be part of a global team supporting a variety of enterprise level partners.

About The Role

  • Requires Full Australian Citizenship**

As a SQL DBA Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing hands-on technical support to this Global Technology Giant’s enterprise customers, through picking up customer queries and troubleshooting. This will give exposure to new and unique problems to adopt a problem-solving mindset, whilst coordinating with the end customer and other engineering teams.

Typical Day In The Role Involves

  • Picking up customer queries and troubleshooting
  • Cases are allocated - expectation is to cover complete 1-2 cases/day
  • Example: If there is a reported Cloud issue, a customer advises they have lost their database and need to restore. The CSE will help customer work towards a solution.

Skills And Experience

  • Professional experience across SQL administration AND/OR development
  • Customer management and team orientated skills, supporting customers on phone and written correspondence regarding technical questions and issues
  • Logical and Critical thinking skills
  • Deep technical and troubleshooting skills
  • Passion for technology and learning
  • Communicate efficiently both written and verbally with a wide variety of customers.
