Job description

We are looking for an IT professional who would like to become a member of a global support team with the chance to help shape our global software service offer.
As part of our Industrial Technique Service Division, you will be a key member of our global software support hub. As Software Support Junior Engineer, you will support our customer centers worldwide during project implementations for our error-proofing and data analysis solutions and provide services within software maintenance contracts.
In this mission, you will become the connection point between our customers, the project managers and technicians in our customer centers, and the R&D departments of our product companies in Sweden, Germany and Italy.

What will be your tasks?

  • Deploy and maintain software solutions remotely
  • React on alerts sent by customer systems and analyze and solve issues via remote access or by escalating them to a product company
  • Document all activities in a ticket system
  • Process IT reports from installed systems and make them available to customer centers and end customers
  • Develop and maintain the IT infrastructure in the hub for testing and trainings
  • Support our product companies in testing new software releases
  • Create and maintain a knowledge base with best practices from your experience
  • Keep your knowledge up-to-date by participating in internal and external trainings and from time to time in software installations worldwide at customers’ production sites. Why is this for you?

Country And City Description

The Global Software Support Hub is located in our Central Service Center in Gromadka in Poland.

Additional Information

This is a full time position. Working from home will be possible most of the time. Flexibility concerning the working times is expected. To support our TechCover software maintenance contracts, paid on-duty times during weekends and public holidays might be required.
You will report to the Global Software Service & Process Manager.
