🚀 Architect - Platform (Cloud/Automation) – Lead the Future of DevOps Platforms!

Are you passionate about cloud architecture and automation? Our client is looking for an experienced Architect to join their Platform Engineering (PE) team and design cutting-edge automation capabilities that power world-class applications.

Your Mission:

Define complex automation tasks and design cloud architecture components that drive platform and environment enablement for developers.
Architect and build secure, automated infrastructure in AWS, GCP, and Azure using a wide range of DevOps tools.
Promote and advocate for DevOps culture, delivery methods, tooling, and best practices within the organization and for our clients.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to estimate project efforts, contribute to agile story pointing, and participate in sprint planning.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to peers, junior engineers, and client personnel, fostering an environment of growth and learning.
Identify and raise technical risks and issues to ensure smooth project execution.
Contribute to the DevOps community by presenting at conferences, writing blog posts, and participating in workshops and community events.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and a solid understanding of cloud architecture.
Strong expertise in DevOps practices—infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and monitoring solutions.
Proficiency with DevOps tools across the ecosystem, including but not limited to Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab, and Prometheus.
A DevOps mindset, focused on building scalable, automated solutions that enable fast, secure, and reliable product delivery.
Experience estimating project work in an agile environment and story pointing for complex technical tasks.
Proven ability to mentor and guide junior engineers, along with a passion for continuous learning and community involvement.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Additional Details:

Location: Anywhere in Mexico (remote work from home)
Eligibility: Only fluent English speakers and legal residents/locals can be considered (directly hired as a fulltime employee).
Contract Type: Direct hire, indefinite contract.
