Centric Software seeks a driven and strategic Professional Services Director to manage Retail Planning project delivery in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). This remote role, based in Germany, reports to the Global Director of Professional Services for Planning Products.
The Professional Services Director will lead project delivery and the regional professional team. Responsibilities include defining and managing project plans, budgets, schedules, and resources for the Centric Planning projects portfolio. You will ensure successful implementation by motivating and directing a project team comprising internal and partner resources. Additionally, you will serve as the primary client interface for deliverables, changes, and status sign-offs.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and develop a Professional Services team, including Project Managers, Solution and Technical Architects, Business Consultants, and Application and Technical Consultants. Initial team development will be a primary goal.
- Establish long-term partnerships with clients and build strong relationships with customers across all departments.
- Create or supervise the creation and execution of project plans.
- Ensure all aspects of projects are managed and monitored, including budget, timeline, and scope.
- Identify project resource requirements.
- Manage scope and make trade-off recommendations between scope, timeline, and budget.
- Ensure the right focus and balance between tactical and strategic project objectives.
- Document, monitor, and mitigate risks related to all project aspects, including scope, timelines, user acceptance, user adoption, and business value.
- Manage project quality and assist with periodic project quality reviews.
- Enhance customer perception of the value Centric Planning brings to the table.
- Explore and develop new business opportunities with clients.
- Manage project escalations in a timely and effective manner.
- Generate Statements of Work and customer proposal documents for incremental work.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide guidance, feedback, coaching, mentoring, and developmental experiences to team members.
- Ensure projects are managed in line with Centric Planning methodologies and quality standards.
Qualifications:- Education: Bachelor’s or higher degree in Supply Chain, IT Technology, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Experience: - 10+ years of professional experience managing supply chain transformation initiatives and client relationships.
- 10+ years of relevant project management experience.
Skills: - Knowledge of the planning process in the retail industry, particularly in customer-facing supply chain solutions with a global brand.
- Experience with enterprise application deployment.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
