Job description

We are hiring a key Customer Success Engineer that will be an integral part of our team as we rapidly grow our customer base and company.   This role will be remote-based, located in India.

We are looking for someone that MUST be technical with experience in a Customer Success role, supporting enterprise customers on security software solutions, including the implementation for new customers, and driving engagement.

As a Customer Success Engineer, you are the frontline hero for our customers, expanding user engagement, and creating loyal customers that love our solution.   You will be responsible for managing and resolving their data security challenges. You will not only support our clients but will also drive the evolution of our product based on real-world applications and feedback.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Customer Engagement: Handle a diverse range of customer queries, from technical troubleshooting to strategic advice on data security. Isolate and resolve technical issues, while documenting use cases and maintaining proactive communications.
  • Advocacy and Leadership: Act as a vocal advocate for customer needs within the company, ensuring that their issues are addressed with clarity and thoroughness. Your role is crucial in aligning internal efforts with customer expectations.
  • Strategic Advisory: Provide expert advice on data security best practices, risk assessments, and integrations. Your insights will help customers optimize their security posture through our platform.
  • Content Development: Contribute to our knowledge base by creating technical content, user guides, and community posts that empower users towards self-service and engage the broader community.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a crucial link between customers and internal teams, bringing urgency and context to all customer interactions to enhance the overall experience.

  • Qualifications:
  • Experience: 6+ years in customer-facing technical roles, ideally with a focus on security.
  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI), SaaS applications (M365, Google Workspace, Salesforce, Workday, etc.), data warehouses, or similar technologies. A solid understanding of cloud security best-practices and data security/privacy principles.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills. You set the standard for professionalism and possess a 'make it happen' mentality. You’re flexible, able to multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
