How you’ll make an impact:

This role typically reports into the Payroll Supervisor, and is based in our Buckhead office in our hybrid work environment

Payroll Processing – 75%

  • Manage all payroll activities for processing US payrolls timely and accurately in accordance to established deadlines
  • Analyze Workday audit reports for payroll processing.
  • Payroll processing for US and Canada
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns within 2 business days 
  • Maintain and document all payroll transactions
  • Preparing Workday payroll reports for management and auditing purposes

Legal Compliance and Internal Controls – 15%

  • Assist in completing accurate and timely filing of annual tax returns including W2s, 941s, etc.
  • Maintain standards for all garnishment processing
  • Provide support for internal and external payroll related audits
  • Ensures maximum compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations

Reporting – 10%

  • Maintains records for all customer related inquiry and appropriate departmental log
  • Utilize Workday reporting for quarterly and year-end tax adjustments
  • Responsible for updating payroll standard operating procedures

Must have:

  • 2-4 years of payroll work experience in a high-volume processing environment
  • Timely and good verbal and written communication
  • Attention to detail, organized, ability to work independently
  • Workday experience
  • Knowledge of accounting related to payroll processing
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business highly preferred

Preferred skills and experience:

  • US and Canada payroll processing experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and payroll systems. 
  • Self-motivated, effectively achieves team goals 
  • Strong ability to multi-task 
  • Excellent team player who works well in a collaborative environment 
  • Ability to work effectively with external partners as well as internal employees
