Position Summary

Focused primarily on the Critical Infrastructure (power and telecom) vertical, the Account Executive is responsible for developing and managing client relationships through a consultative and targeted selling approach. Primary responsibilities include cold calling, prospecting, new account acquisition, site-plan design, project management assistance, account management, upgrade/cross selling along with providing exceptional customer service.


Reporting to the VP Sales Critical Infrastructure, an Account Executive strategically collaborates with resources such as National Account Executives, Strategic Industry Managers, Solutions Engineering, Sales Operations, Monitoring, Customer Service, Marketing, Accounting and Legal.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Aggressively prospect and maintain a proactive new business development discipline
  • Employ traditional lead/opportunity generation activities including cold calling, internal/external referrals, direct digital outreach of promotional packages, industry event participation, and in person
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline/funnel
  • Leverage well established network of customer and industry relationships to drive opportunity development
  • High intensity prospecting for new clients with a relentless pursuit of new customer attainment
  • Developing innovative proposals and delivering strategic sales presentations
  • Designing, specifying, selling, and project managing installations of security systems for Live Video Monitoring
  • Prioritizing activities to ensure optimum penetration and profitability
  • Negotiating with clients and partners
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships at senior management levels
  • Preparing written proposals; delivering oral presentations to customers and other stakeholders
  • Consistently meet/exceed designated Sales targets
  • Diligently maintain client information and sales activity in designated CRM
  • Build, develop and leverage widespread network of useful industry contacts
  • Attend and participate in industry events and associations to further expand on industry knowledge and relationships
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Frequent travel throughout the US
  • Effectively managing work-life balance due to frequent travelling


Qualifications

  • University education with a preference for Business Administration
  • Experience selling technical or industrial solutions into the relevant vertical
  • Minimum of 4-6 years’ experience in an outbound sales role
  • Proven measurable sales success- past award winner, industry reputation, top earner, etc.


Working Conditions

  • Remote office setting
  • Travel 40-50%
