This position is part of the Commercial Excellence team located remotely. At Aldevron, we combine best-in-class products and service with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide. You will report to the SR Director, Commercial Excellence
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
• Drive Orders Forecasting: own global orders forecasting process, tools/templates and output with an eye towards continuous improvement, collaborating with key sales and commercial leaders to provide inputs at the account, team and business unit level
• Drive Revenue Forecasting: develop and improve analytics driven revenue forecasting process and model at the account, team and business unit level, working with finance, commercial and project management stakeholders to provide inputs
• Implement Forecast and Funnel Analytics: develop analytics models to consistently improve forecast accuracy, provide forecast risk adjustments and ranges of outcomes
• Provide Commercial Insights: Develop and report on critical weekly and monthly KPI’s and leading funnel/commercial indicators, providing executive level synthesis on gaps/wins and analyzing/highlighting trends (including drill down into team or territory level misses/wins)
• Territory Performance and Commissions: develop reporting analytics around territory and team performance, measuring quota achievement and ultimately accurate administration of variable compensation plans
The essential requirements of the job include:
• Bachelor’s degree required in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field, MBA preferred
• 10+ years of experience, working in an analytics function, building advanced excel models (i.e. advanced pivot tables, complex lookups, conditional formulas), including advanced proficiency in visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
•Experience and advanced proficiency in delivering synthesized insights for executive level consumption, designing and executing required analyses in a mostly self-directed manner (including obtaining, integrating, cleaning and distilling multiple large sets of raw data)
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
•Writing complex SQL queries; maintaining and joining data tables; building forecasting models in python.

The salary range $150,000 - $170,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
