Multi-Line Liability Claim Representative II – Fully Remote

 

Are you an experienced claims professional with a background in commercial trucking liability, premises liability, and bodily injury claims? CCMSI is seeking a Multi-Line Liability Claim Representative II for a fully remote role. This position offers a manageable caseload and the opportunity to work with nationwide clients Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and adjust assigned multi-line liability claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
  • Manage commercial trucking, premises liability, and bodily injury claims in accordance with corporate standards and client expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while delivering exceptional claim services.
  • Participate in negotiations and order medical records as part of the claim handling process.
  • Draft professional emails and communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Proven expertise in commercial trucking liability, premises liability, and bodily injury claims.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to analyze and manage medical records.
  • Proficiency in professional communication, particularly email correspondence.
  • Ability to foster client relationships and maintain a high standard of service.
  • Potential for travel to attend meetings, trainings, and claim reviews.
  • Home state adjusters license is required.

Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and adjust multi-line liability claims in accordance with established claims handling procedures using CCMSI guidelines and direct supervision.
  • Review medical, legal and miscellaneous invoices to determine if reasonable and related to the ongoing liability claims. Negotiate any disputed bills for resolution.
  • Authorize and make payment of liability claims utilizing a claim payment program in accordance with industry standards and within settlement authority.
  • Negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys in accordance with client's authorization.
  • Assist in selection and supervision of defense attorneys.
  • Assess and monitor subrogation claims for resolution.
  • Prepare reports detailing claims, payments and reserves.
  • Provide reports and monitor files, as required by excess insurers.
  • Compliance with Service Commitments as established by team.
  • Delivery of quality claim service to clients.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience    

Level II Claim Rep will possess excellent claims management skills, typically with 5 to 10 years of experience or equivalent education, along with proven claims handling performance levels.

 

Computer Skills            

Proficient with Microsoft Office programs such as: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. 

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Home State Adjusters license is required.
