The Role
In this role, you will manage and automate security operations using advanced automation tools, including XSOAR. You will develop and implement playbooks for incident response, monitor and analyze security events through SIEM, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security practices. Additionally, you will train and support new team members. Prior experience as a Software Developer is also valuable, as it involves developing and maintaining software applications using various programming languages, implementing security best practices in the software development lifecycle, collaborating with security teams to integrate security features into applications, and conducting code reviews and vulnerability assessments to ensure code quality and security.
Who You Are
- For the XSOAR Specialist role, you should have proven experience in managing and automating cybersecurity operations.
- You should be proficient in using security automation tools and SIEM technologies, with a solid understanding of incident response practices.
- Technical skills in scripting languages such as Python and Bash are essential.
- You should also hold relevant certifications, including Palo Alto Networks Certified Security Automation Engineer (PCSAE) and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science is required.
- Fluency in Italian and English is necessary for effective communication.
- You should posses strong collaboration skills, the ability to provide innovative solutions, and experience in training and supporting team members. Relevant projects, such as the implementation of security automation solutions and XSOAR integration projects, will demonstrate your expertise and ability to enhance the capabilities of security operations centers.
- You should have 2 years of experience at least.
