Job description

Want to join a fast-moving company, among hard-working and convivial teams and participate to our Group's procurement roadmap? We are looking for a Global Procurement Analyst (CDD 6 months) starting as soon as possible! You will be based at The Island, our office in central Paris.

Your role

  • Enable Pernod Ricard to contribute to our growth ambition, through contributing to the Procurement transformation Program
  • Supports Global Category Managers to drive and contribute to development of the strategy and roadmap
  • Contributes to building tailored action plans and recommendations at the global level to maximize procurement impact
  • Proposes & maintains efficient internal processes, provides analytical support and manages reporting

Your key missions

Supports the development of the global procurement strategy:

  • Contributes to the definition of roadmap to deliver objectives along 4 sources of value: Security of Supply, Margin Improvement, Sustainability and Accelerated Innovation
  • Identifies new trends (working with CoE, suppliers and affiliates) and links them towards strategic objectives
  • Provide fit-for-purpose advanced analysis
  • Supports negotiations with suppliers via data collection/consolidation, analysis and updating/challenging negotiation strategy when appropriate
  • Is accountable for identification of risks and success factors for savings initiatives, provides information for business case creation

Analyze new/potential suppliers, supports suppliers' selection & development:

  • Performs price comparisons and supplier benchmarking to allow good sourcing decisions
  • Is part of interface towards suppliers – organizes regular business reviews with selected partners

Onboards stakeholders at relevant levels & facilitates transversal ways of working with affiliates and corporate functions

  • Organizes regular category reviews with selected affiliates and provides escalation support to find solutions for ongoing requests
  • Manages global budgeting & performance/pipeline tracking process

Actively participates to the Pernod Ricard Procurement transformation:

  • Is responsible for implementation of digital tools and performance dashboards aligned with PR Procurement reporting tools

Provides analytical support to Category Director and Category Manager

  • Performs regular spend database analysis and provides regular updates on KPIs
  • Provides costing analysis at the SKUs and/or sub-category and affiliate level and/or benchmarking studies for existing portfolio
  • Follows category market inflation and updates PAF models as needed

  • Experienced professional with successful 3-5 years record in a procurement organization
  • Experience in working within FMCG multi-cultural organizations

Technical

  • Strong analytic and technical skills & data driven. Ability to create detailed costing models
  • Good understanding of financial and commercial context of procurement
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills: verbal and presenting, proficient in English
  • Strong IT competence: Practical experience and capabilities in digital & e-sourcing tools
