Key Responsibilities

Cardino's main product was built using no-code tools like Bubble, Airtable, and Make. We are now at the forefront of an exciting transformation, integrating our no-code systems with traditional software engineering practices to drive our growth and enhance the stability of our platform.

Joining Cardino as one of the first Software Engineers means actively shaping the core of our platform to accelerate growth and support our expansion into new markets. You'll have a unique opportunity to work on a fresh codebase within an early-stage startup that has already proven its business model.

• Architecture and Design: Participate the architectural design and development of Cardino's platform with a focus on scalability and performance with API first approach.

• Iterative Product Development: Actively contribute to building our Cardino system with high quality code and focus on end user’s needs.

• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

• Shape Tech Stack and Engineering Processes: Contribute to building our engineering processes, best practices and tech stack we adopt into our engineering culture.

• Maintain and Improve Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Implement code reviews, testing, and quality control processes to ensure reliability and maintainability.

• System Monitoring and Optimization: Develop monitoring systems and ensure continuous performance tuning of applications, databases, and infrastructure.

• Contribute to Tech Strategy: Provide input into the technical roadmap and decision-making process, influencing the direction of Cardino’s product development as the company scales.

Requirements

• Experience: 4-6 years of experience as Software Engineer

• Proficiency in Typescript, Node.js and at least one modern UI stack like Next.js, Vue, React

• Proficiency in designing and building REST API enforcing solid contracts between subsystems

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL (or other comparable RDBMS)

• Experience with Domain Driven Design

• Experience working with AWS technologies preferred

• Nice to have: hands-on experience with strongly typed languages like Java, C#, Kotlin
