We are hiring a Manager, Medicare Sales to join our growing team!
Must reside in California - remote position!
Summary
Under limited supervision, the Medicare Sales Manager is responsible for selling Medicare to go with Medicaid, along with overseeing the Medicare DSNP Department. This role will include collaborating with marketing and developing partnerships with broker sales and external agents. Team player that collaborates effectively with peers and stakeholders to drive data-driven and decision-making across the organization. Bilingual required: Spanish, Mandarin, Hmong, or Russian.

Essential Functions
- Meet or exceed sales expectations through existing active relationships.
- Build new relationships in existing markets and expansion markets to grow the broker sales channel.
- Oversee agent sales and product training including webinars for new agents, lock-in refresher trainings, and Open Enrollment recertification training.
- Assist with broker support channels including customer service calls and email inquiries.
- Monthly and ad-hoc communications with external agents and agencies.
- Oversee interactions with external agents including commissions, discrepancies, enrollment kit fulfillment, certification and contracting/appointment requirements.
- Monitor quarterly agent and agency production requirements.
- Ensure CMS compliance with all sales, enrollment processes, and events.
- Individual production of sales may be optional.
- Lead, motivate, coach and manage direct agents to ensure that performance goals are met and exceeded.
- Provide broker feedback around competitive landscape, as needed.
- Manages the Medicare DSNP (Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans) Department.

Education and Experience
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required; with
- 3 years of experience in healthcare insurance sales.
- Bilingual required: Spanish, Mandarin, Hmong, or Russian.
Licenses, Certifications
Required
- California State Health Insurance License.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies
Required
Must be proficient in the following:
- Expert understanding in Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans, Medi-Cal, insurance terms, and enrolling clients in Medicare plan.
- Organizing and maintaining records.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- MS Office, Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Customer Relationship Management Systems.
- Ensures adherence to data governance polices within the healthcare environment.
- Strong understanding of HIPPA regulations and handling client information.
- Review and evaluate clients’ health care plan needs.
- Assist clients in understanding and enrolling in Medicare Plan.
- Conduction thorough analysis of clients’ needs and options offered by the plan.
- Ability to thoroughly explain insurance terms and coverage to clients.
- Ensure compliance with HIPPA regulations and handling client information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
- Write, read, and interpret internal policy and procedures and regulations at the state and federal levels.
- Great organizational skills, attention to detail, professional etiquette.
- Maintain accurate records of sales administration activities, including client interactions and policy details, data entry, e-filing, document scanning, and other office duties.
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management Systems.

Frequent sitting, standing and walking, constant repetitive motion, frequent talking and listening, occasional handling of materials up to 10 lbs., closeup and distance vision requirements, occasional travel.
