Responsibilities

• Write well-researched, engaging articles, blog posts, and news stories on topics related to software development, IT innovations, and industry trends.
• Conduct interviews with developers, engineers, and industry experts.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in software development, cloud computing, AI, DevOps, and related fields.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create content that drives traffic and engagement.
• Fact-check information to ensure the accuracy of content.
• Work on tight deadlines to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a journalist or writer in the IT or tech industry.
• Strong knowledge of software development processes, languages, and tools (e.g., Agile, DevOps, Python, Java, etc.).
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a general audience while maintaining accuracy. 
• Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and content management systems (CMS).
• Strong communication and research skills.

English Proficiency

The candidate must have excellent grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary skills, with the ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content for a global audience. Experience in writing for an international readership is a plus, as the content must be easily understandable to both native and non-native English speakers. Additionally, the ability to tailor language and tone to suit various technical and business contexts will be highly valued.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Previous experience working for a tech-focused publication or blog.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple writing assignments.
