As a Senior PHP Developer (Laravel) you will:

  • Collaborate with team members to develop and maintain the codebase of software products.
  • Partner with engineers to drive innovation and expand our products through the use of cutting-edge technologies and best practices.
  • Develop new functionalities utilizing modern PHP (Laravel).
  • Actively resolve bugs and implement enhancements throughout the development process.
  • Create and maintain unit, feature, and integration tests.
  • Assist in planning and outlining the scope of upcoming features.

Requirements

Your qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar engineering role, with strong expertise in PHP and Laravel framework.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software design patterns.
  • Familiarity with SOLID principles and best coding practices.
  • Experience with Eloquent ORM and query builders.
  • Strong database skills in MySQL or PostgreSQL, ability to write efficient SQL Queries and perform database migrations.
  • Experienced in developing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
  • Comfortable working with the PHPStorm IDE for PHP in a Linux-based development environment, including familiarity with the command-line interface and common utilities.
  • Proficient in using Git for version control and comfortable working with Docker.
  • Adept at writing automated tests for Laravel applications using PHPUnit or Pest.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and experience with AWS or other cloud platforms is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
