JOB SUMMARY
This position is eligible for remote work in one of the following states: Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming. This position will require some travel for office meetings, as needed, to our corporate office in Tulsa, OK.
Job Profile Summary
Within the HR Information Systems (HRIS) team the HRIS Analyst - Senior provides functional, configuration and technical support of key HR systems, collaborates in-person and virtually with HR teams, HRIS/IT team, IT, business customers and vendor partners to proactively support, coordinate and execute HR systems operational objectives, provides regular run/maintain activities including troubleshooting, corrections and enhancements utilizing work/request prioritization and governance processes for HR and assigned HR CoEs and provides oversight and stewardship of assigned technical functions and/or initiatives (i.e.: scope, execution, deliverables) to support expected business outcomes.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Run & Maintain / Troubleshooting / Process Improvements
- Using broad understanding of system functionality and HR processes (HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Absence, Time, Talent, Payroll, Learning, Reporting), respond to identified problems and requests; interpret, analyze, diagnose, resolve and collaborate with necessary resources.
- Communicate recommended solution, including root cause if needed, to pertinent stakeholders. Identify trends (break/fix items) to determine longer term solutions. Escalate when needed
- Obtain necessary internal approvals and ensure the execution of production changes adhere to pertinent change and release management protocols
- Document application functional processes including audit requirements as needed
- Use available tools to manage and track assigned workload
- Understand and support all RIM protocols
- Provide training and assistance to HRIS team to support cross-training and back-up support
- Customer Engagement
- Proactively and regularly meet with assigned customers to understand priorities, pain points and processes; use this knowledge to suggest pertinent process, system and reporting/analytics enhancements and/or changes
- Provide regular communications to assigned customers and others including status updates, project calendars, metrics, testing efforts and prioritization
- Coach and assist assigned customers to best leverage the HR system delivered functionality and reporting
- Assist assigned customers with continuous improvement suggestions
- Testing
- Help coordinates bi-annual HCM release testing as well as assigned customer acceptance testing of ad hoc updates and enhancements
- Help develop and document a repeatable functional testing process and ensure assigned customer processes are also documented as needed
- Help coordinate analysis, configuration and testing in partnership with technology teams when needed
- HR Project / Request stewardship
- Collaborate with assigned customers to identify and develop key requirements and deliverables. Translate requirements into functional specifications.
- Provide beginning-to-end oversight of the request, coordinating to ensure action items, deliverables with internal teams, team members, customers and other stakeholders are completed per the agreed upon timeline.
- Obtain customer acceptance prior to release
- Review deliverable (post-mortem) and use learning to improve oversight process
- Provide proactive communications and updates to stakeholders throughout the process
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or combination of formal education and the following job related experience:
Work Experience
- 5 or more years related work experience:
- Supporting a cloud based HR or HCM system, including troubleshooting, requirements gathering, testing and release management required
- Five years of experience with Workday HCM required
- HRIS experience or related HR customer support required
- Must have experience in supporting customers in their use of technology required
- Broad functional knowledge, experience in and understanding of HR (i.e.: payroll, performance, benefits, recruiting, learning, reporting, etc.)
- Experience writing reports/analytics required
- Experience managing multiple, high priority tasks, able to adjust to shifting priorities, provide quick turnarounds and meet deadlines required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of: HR functional knowledge (ie: payroll, performance, benefits, recruiting, learning, reporting etc.) and applicable governmental laws/regulations
- Ability to: utilize strong interpersonal skills to successfully collaborate and provide consultative advice/communication across multiple teams and stakeholders

Licenses and Certifications
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR)-HRCI preferred
