About the Role
As Program Manager, Leadership Development, you will focus on cultivating leadership capabilities at all levels, with a particular emphasis on office and field leadership. 
This role has a target goal of developing current and future leaders by providing them with the skills, knowledge, and experiences necessary to succeed. Including programs for first-time leaders on leadership basics (coaching, onboarding your associates, interviewing,.), accelerated programs to get leaders ready for the next level role (emerging, high potential, and multi-unit leadership), and a champion network for top-of-mind awareness and partner delivery.

You will be responsible for oversight of all aspects of the leadership development programs including strategic design, creation of scalable interventions to close performance gaps, implementation, program management and monitoring. Reporting to the Director, Field Learning and Development, this role will partner with senior leadership, Operations and Human Resource partners, and external vendors to ensure effectiveness and continuous improvement of leadership development initiatives. 
The Program Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's leadership pipeline, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and leadership excellence.
This is a hybrid remote role, offering a flexible work arrangement out of either our Raleigh, NC or Vienna, VA offices.  
 
You will
•    Design, develop, and implement comprehensive leadership development programs that address the needs of emerging, mid-level, and senior leaders.
•    Develop and implement training modules, workshops, and experiential learning opportunities that enhance leadership skills.
•    Oversee the day-to-day operations of leadership development programs, ensuring effective execution including program coordination, budgeting, and resource allocation.
•    Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, adjusting as needed.
•    Provide coaching and mentoring to program participants, helping them to navigate their leadership development journey.
•    Facilitate peer learning and networking opportunities that foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among leaders.
•    Support the development of internal coaches and mentors, ensuring a sustainable leadership pipeline.
 
You will come with:
Required
•    8+ years of experience in a role focused on leadership development program management, learning, talent development, and / or organizational effectiveness.
•    Strong knowledge of leadership development theories, models, tools, and best practice. 
•    Familiarity with leadership assessment tools, such as 360-degree feedback, psychometric assessments, coaching and mentoring programs, and development centers. 
•    Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in an agile way in a high-growth multi-unit organization with geographically dispersed teams and front-line associates.
•    Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization. 
•    Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other digital tools for program delivery.
•    Proficiency in leveraging data and analytics to measure program impact and drive continuous improvement.
 
Preferred
•    Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organization Design/ Effectiveness, Talent Development, Learning and Development, or a related field. 
•    Certifications in coaching, leadership development or other Human Resource related areas
•    Retail, healthcare, or hospitality industry experience. 
•    Experience with large-scale organizational change initiatives.
