What you’ll be doing...
You’ll be responsible for supporting revenue assurance activities that protect the integrity of the revenue stream. You’ll lead and manage strategic projects on behalf of revenue assurance; identifying risks, launch-gating requirements and key financial controls. You’ll solve complex problems and make recommendations that aid in the successful completion of initiatives within your functional area.

  • Representing revenue assurance for new project/product rollouts, strategic initiatives, and ad hoc requests.

  • Evaluating revenue assurance impacts and communicating to key stakeholders and revenue assurance teams.

  • Ensuring revenue assurance requirements have been met, providing signoff and communicating reasons for delays.

  • Functioning as a resource for an assigned domain with in depth knowledge of the business product and end to end system functionality.

  • Designing, building and maintaining financial controls that monitor revenue and proactively mitigate billing issues.

  • Partnering with cross functional teams to resolve issues, drive improvements and minimize billing discrepancies.

  • Performing ad hoc research of billing issues and anomalies; perform complex data analysis, insights & recommendations.

  • Utilizing various tools such as ACSS, VISION, POS, MARS, CPI, EDW to help ensure the integrity of our data and systems.

  • Communicating timely updates on projects, issues and impacts to leadership.

What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of related work experience in finance, audit, quality assurance or technical discipline.

  • Knowledge with wireless/wireline systems and processes.

  • Organized, detail oriented individual that can work independently and drive project success.

  • Creative problem solving and innovation to drive digital solution analytical, quantitative and proactive thinking skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills tailored to the needs of the audience.

  • Strong background in project management and/or systems auditing or process controls.

Even better if you have:
  • Bachelor's degree in a finance, business or technical discipline.

  • Cross Functional team experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Verizon systems such as ACSS, VISION, POS, MARS, CPI, EDW and REVO.

  • SQL experience.

  • Experience with order to bill functions such as: order processing, provisioning, network architecture or billing systems.

  • Experience with revenue assurance functions.

  • Experience in agile, JIRA and clarity.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
