Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a ServiceNow Solutioning Architect SME to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This individual is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing ServiceNow solutions to meet the business needs of the organization. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements, creating architectural designs, and ensuring the solutions are scalable, secure, and efficient. The ideal candidate will support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/ Transportation Security Administration (TSA) customer.

Day to Day Work Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end solution architecture of complex ServiceNow implementations, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business goals.
  • Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems
  • Provide guidance on platform optimization and module customization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architecture designs.
  • Develop and maintain architecture blueprints, technical designs, and solution configurations.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for ServiceNow development, deployment, and administration.
  • Ensure compliance with ServiceNow platform governance policies, including security, data integrity, and system architecture standards.
  • Lead the creation of technical documentation, including solution design documents, architecture diagrams, and user guides.
  • Stay up-to-date on new ServiceNow features, capabilities, and best practices.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship required; Must have the ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD) clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree and 16 years' experience or Master's degree and 14 years' experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 20 years' experience.
  • Extensive experience with ServiceNow configuration, customization, and development.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript and GlideScript.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations and APIs.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in at least one module (e.g., ITSM, ITOM).

Target Salary Range

$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
