About the team:

FIS Front Arena is a leading global provider of financial software. We build systems for financial trading, risk management and position control. Our systems enable banks, hedge funds and other financial institutions to make critical decisions with confidence, execute their orders and follow up their positions. Independent of what asset class being traded: whether it is stocks, commodities, rates or currencies; or whether it’s done through an exchange or over the counter, we’ve got it covered. But that’s just parts of it. We support the whole process from sell-side to buy-side, front-to-back.

What you will be doing:

You will be a part of Market Integrations team that is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of key market integration solutions to brokers, broker networks and exchanges using exchange provided protocols, FIX protocol, etc. As a Technical Product Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Understanding product strategy, architecture and technology

  • Understanding market, industry, and client goals

  • Collaborating with exchanges and broker networks, to gather and analyze mandatory and optional electronic trading services, protocol and workflow changes

  • Collaborating with product manager and product owner to gather and understand required product changes

  • Collaborating with product owner in writing technical requirements, stories and tasks with acceptance criteria for development team and prioritizing product backlog

  • Working together with software engineers and QAs during product development and test planning, to ensure that products changes meet requirements

  • Working together with software engineers and QAs on resolving client reported issues

  • Reviewing and maintaining product documentation. 

What you bring:

  • B Sc. in Computer Science or similar degree

  • Understanding of software development process

  • Previous 5+ year experience in Software Developer, Technical Analyst, Product Owner or similar roles

  • Analytical thinking and a problem-solving attitude.

  • Excellent people and communication skills with fluency in English.

Added bonus if you have:

  • Experience in financial markets

  • Experience with capital markets electronic trading workflows and protocols

  • Experience with real-time message processing

  • Experience with agile development teams.
