Defense Microelectronics Workforce Development SME
Key Role:
Provide strategic and technical workforce development analysis support to senior defense clients. Understand current and future defense critical technology workforce needs, and identify and develop workforce outreach, development, educational curriculum, training, and related content. Create, design, and implement strategies and roadmaps designed to identify and develop defense-critical technology talent that improve U.S. workforce capabilities. Work across defense stakeholder groups and academic institutions to create a pipeline of talent into the defense ecosystem.
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience with project development and execution in workforce development, academia, defense, semiconductor, microelectronics, or critical technologies
- 5+ years of experience formulating workforce development strategies, including identifying stakeholder groups, facilitating requirements sessions, developing engaging and descriptive materials, and performing outreach and engagement
- Experience teaching and training people in the defense community
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite products, including PowerPoint and Excel, to create polished and professional briefings and reports
- Knowledge of microelectronics and semiconductor workforce needs, including electrical engineering and electronics technicians
- Knowledge of the defense industry and supporting U.S. Government or defense needs
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree

- Ability to develop high visibility briefings and reports for senior defense officials
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possession of excellent collaboration, listening, and briefing skills
- Secret clearance
- Master’s degree
- Project Management Professional Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
