You will work closely with team members to define application security best practices, perform software security testing of web applications, and perform analysis of security issues to support the identification, interpretation, and remediation of vulnerabilities across a variety of applications, programming languages, and platforms.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • 3+ years of experience with application security testing and vulnerability management.
  • Familiarity with reading and analyzing programming languages.
  • Web Application Security Testing using Burp Suite Pro, ZAP, and Snyk.
  • Understanding of OWASP Top 10; must be able to describe what they are, impacts, and resolutions.
  • Vulnerability assessment using Nessus
  • Proficient with Kali Linux.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving.

DESIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Python, R, Stata.
  • Experience working with Jira and Confluence.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Strong organizational, attention-to-detail, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.

The likely salary range for this position is $93,500 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
