Sr. DevOps Engineer - Remote

(Must be located in Pacific or Mountain Time Zones)

Our UCaaS engineering team is looking for a senior devops engineer. You will participate in our software process, and be a part of a highly collaborative and supportive team developing and maintaining the services and infrastructure powering one of our key products. You will work alongside the rest of the team to monitor your code, and improve the observability of all of our services. This role is remote and we are looking for someone in the Mountain or Pacifc time zones.

Your Role:

Be a key member of the team and participate in recurring sprint and status meetings
Partner with senior engineering as you create, implement, troubleshoot, and automate newly created services within a VoIP environment.
Collaborate with the team as you maintain current infrastructure, as well as execute a plan to make voice resources highly available and scalable
Enjoy problem solving as you troubleshoot issues that have been escalated from other departments and then take the next steps to prevent the issue from recurring and implement automated detection methods.
Participate in an on-call rotation and conduct maintenance during the after-hours maintenance window

Your Background:

Proficiency in container orchestration, such as Kubernetes
Experience with infrastructure as code, such as Ansible or Saltstack
Experience working in a Linux or UNIX-like environment
Experience programming and supporting VoIP software, such as OpenSIPS or Asterisk
Experience with continuous integration, such as Jenkins
English fluency and strong writing skills
Experience with key-value databases, such as Redis is highly desired
Experience with relational databases, such as MySQL is highly desired
Experience with HTTP proxies, such as HAProxy is highly desired
Experience with big data platforms, such as Druid, Kafka or Hadoop is highly desired
Experience with NoSQL database, such as Couchbase or MongoDB is highly desired
Experience with computer networking is highly desired
