We have an immediate opportunity for a Software Operations Lead to join our company working directly with the Director of Information technology. This is a full-time remote, salaried role with comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong aptitude for self-learning and mastering various cloud solutions. You should be enthusiastic about working with a diverse range of cloud technologies. This role is broad in scope and requires a high degree of curiosity to deeply explore and solve business challenges through AI implementation (Chatbots), automation, reporting, or innovative solutions yet to be developed. Salary Range: $80,000 - $95000 plus benefits

Location: Remote U.S

Primary Responsibilities Include

  • A Software Operations Lead’s time is dedicated to building our internal business solutions both at the strategic and tactical levels. You will be responsible for creation, administration, deployment and adoption of internal JDA TSG technology initiatives.
  • Work directly with the Director of Technology in driving and owning both tactical and strategic projects and activities
  • Co-administer all primary business cloud solutions for (Azure AD, O365, SharePoint) and secondary cloud solutions where needed
  • Build Power Automation flows (Intermediate level)
  • Enhance and administer a ticketing and asset management system which prioritizes and tracks requests to resolution.
  • Own and resolve new hire and ongoing software technical support (tactical)
  • Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions with cost/benefit analysis
  • Assist in creating short how to videos for internal users (must be comfortable creating and editing/posting including voice over)

Must Have

  • Azure Skill - Strong thirst for technology, and desire to be a continuous learner
  • The ability to adapt and learn new solutions (AI) with little to no experience with that solution
  • Trustworthiness to administer critical systems
  • Experience teaching common yet sometimes complex skills with patience and understandable language to a laymen audience
  • Comfortable communicating with senior leadership
  • Troubleshooting (logic and reasoning) skills
  • Proactive thinker who excels in prioritizing a range of initiatives with strong organizational skills

Technical Requirements

  • Azure AD Skills – Az-900 Preferred or documented skills
  • Power Platform Certification PL-900 or documented skills.
  • Microsoft Power Automation experience (intermediate level preferred)
  • Microsoft O365 Administration experience
  • MS Excel or Database skills
  • MS CoPilot for MS Office or ChatGPT skills

Nice To Have

  • Azure Certification – Az-900 or above
  • Power Platform Certification PL-900 or above
  • Helpdesk ticketing software (admin level)
  • Microsoft SharePoint (building sites and administering)
  • Video producing and editing (Intermediate level)
  • Copilot Studio
  • Salesforce Administration

What This Role Is Not

  • This is not a Network Administrator, or a robotic IT Technical role.
  • You do not need to know how to code, however, with regards to automation you must be able to use the Microsoft Power Automation platform and methodologies.
  • It is not a Hardware Engineering role, but rather we are looking for you to have the knowledge to advise or troubleshoot hardware and peripherals at a user level.
  • We are not looking for a helpdesk troubleshooter, however, there will be some light helpdesk related activity this role will own.
  • We are not seeking a Database Administrator or Analyst, however, having the ability to create queries, understanding data to build meaningful reporting is a must have skill set.
