Nature and Scope of Job
USDM is seeking an experienced MODA Developer will support methods and sample plans for MODA. The methods are well defined on paper, the MODA Developer will work closely with the QC Analysts and help make changes and implement new configuration. This role will apply knowledge of technologies, applications, methods, processes and tools to support the project. They will also serve as a liaison to the business community and participate in user and task analysis to maintain the business community's perspective.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and configure MODA to meet client requirements.
- End-to-end software development starting from analysis moving on to design, implementation, QA testing and validation, delivery and maintenance.
Additional Responsibilities
- Analyze and design new business processes. Identify and define detailed product requirements and use cases.
- Write and perform Unit Tests.
- Write periodic status progress reports.
- Perform basic or complex configuration of laboratory information systems.
- Develop simple or complex software functionality but with limited scope.
- Participate in peer reviews of code for coding standards, best practices, functionality, error handling, etc.
- Write basic queries using relational database concepts and schema design principles Integrate laboratory instruments with scientific software packages.
- Develop simple or complex, dynamic reports.
- Participate in requirements analysis process with client stakeholders.
- Break complex processes into smaller achievable pieces.
- Integrate scientific applications with other scientific or nonscientific applications.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience working in a technical role with MODA EM system.
- 3 years of experience working in regulated environments.
- 3 years of consulting experience with continuous increase in responsibility and technical competence.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree required in a related field.

Compensation
Salary/Hourly Rate Range (W2): USD 80.00 – 100.00
The base salary/hourly rate range represents the anticipated low and high end of the USDM’s compensation range for this position. Actual salaries/hourly rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. The compensation described above is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described based on market survey data or budget.
Full-time employees are eligible for health, vision, and dental insurance, life insurance, short and long-term disability, hospital indemnity, accident, and critical care coverage.Both full and part-time employees, who are at least 21 years of age, are eligible to participate in USDM's 401k plan.
