Job description

Position Summary

IEM is looking for a Full Time- Grants Manager to join our Critical Infrastructure team in Puerto Rico.

Primary Location:

  • Candidate must live a commutable distance to San Juan, Puerto Rico.
  • Position will be a fully in office role, we cannot accommodate remote work from home.

Travel Requirements

  • Currently None

Essential Functions

  • Create strategies for managing budgets and staying within budget parameters.
  • Create a calendar of events and deadlines for all grant-related activities.
  • Identify funding opportunities and submit applications for grants.
  • Review budgets and expenditure reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor the progress of grants to ensure that they are being implemented as planned.
  • Ensure that records are complete and accurate.
  • Assist with the organization’s fundraising initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Accounting, or a similar discipline.
  • Four (4) years of experience working with Federal Funded Programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in developing and successfully submitting state and federal grants/budgets.
  • Experience with the development and finalization of contracts and agreements.
  • Must be working locally from Puerto Rico.
