Job description

General Purpose of Job

The Production Manager, Branded Goods will work closely with a team to establishing and growing Quad’s new Branded Goods business. This role involves working closely with new and existing clients, supporting business pitches, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring seamless quote and orders execution process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients and the Branded Goods team to launch and expand Quad’s Branded Goods business.
  • Support new business pitches by creating compelling sales presentations and building accurate product quotes.
  • Engage with new suppliers to understand their capabilities and onboard them into the Quad supplier base.
  • Quote new transactional business with suppliers and develop ideation presentations.
  • Maintain close communication with clients to understand their requirements and provide timely updates on quotes.
  • Manage approved quotes through the order and delivery phases, overseeing suppliers, distribution, and client satisfaction.
  • Work with team members to curate and build branded goods collections for new clients and prospects.
  • Collaborate with Branded team and Technology leaders to implement new systems for purchasing, order execution, item loading into the system, and stock management.
  • Support the oversight and management of inventoried items for Quad Branded Goods clients.
  • Participate in client engagements to identify and solve transactional order issues, including involvement in the Quad Client Diagnostic process.
  • Partner with Quad business leaders to expand existing client accounts into the Branded Goods business.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience and a proven track record of working with suppliers and clients.
  • 3+ years of experience working in the branded goods or promotional goods industry either as a supplier, distributor or client buyer.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
  • Confident and adept at meeting with suppliers and clients with the ability to solve client issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Meticulous in providing accurate specifications, pricing, and order quantities.
  • Proficiency in using technology to streamline processes.
  • Works well with the team and willing to jump in and help deliver for clients.
  • Understands the dynamics of being part of a large organization while contributing to a new startup group.
