The position offers an opportunity to work on a broad range of legal matters, including consumer collections, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and regulatory compliance. The attorney will actively manage cases, attend court hearings, and collaborate with a team of legal professionals. This role is remote-friendly, though occasional travel may be required for court appearances. The firm is expanding across multiple states, creating exciting growth opportunities for the right candidate.Duties:Handle a diverse caseload focused on creditors' rights, foreclosure, and consumer collection matters.Utilize legal case management software to track and report on case progress.Represent clients in court hearings, with occasional travel as required.Provide regulatory compliance advice and manage various legal actions, including replevin and eviction cases.Collaborate with the legal team to deliver high-quality legal services to clients, ensuring adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.Maintain proactive communication with clients, delivering superior client care.Requirements:Active membership in good standing with the state Bar where licensed to practice.Knowledge of consumer credit collections, FDCPA, and state-specific laws governing consumer collections.Courtroom experience, including appearances on behalf of clients in various legal matters.Strong commitment to client service and maintaining open, consistent communication.Self-motivated with a collaborative attitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active law license in at least one state is required.Multi-state licensure is highly preferred.Skills:Strong legal research and case management skills.Ability to handle multiple cases and manage deadlines effectively.Excellent written and oral communication abilities.Proficiency in legal software for case tracking and reporting.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Benefits:401(k) with matching options.Health, dental, and vision insurance.Life insurance and employee assistance program.Paid time off and retirement plan.Referral program.
