Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 5 Years, Job Overview: A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Medical Malpractice Attorney to join their team remotely. This role involves primarily handling medical malpractice cases on the plaintiff side, with some personal injury cases as well. The position is remote, with occasional in-person meetings as required. Ideal candidates will have strong litigation experience and a commitment to advocating for clients facing challenging situations.Location:Peabody, MADuties:Represent clients in medical malpractice and personal injury civil actions.Conduct and defend depositions, ensuring thorough case preparation.Draft, respond to, and manage discovery processes.Prepare pleadings, motions, and trial documents.Review and analyze medical records relevant to client cases.Report case progress and updates to clients and firm partners.Requirements:5 to 7 years of experience in medical malpractice or personal injury litigation on the plaintiff side.Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to communicate with clients and team members.Excellent research, writing, and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Experience with case management software, Microsoft Office, e-filing, and navigating court websites.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Massachusetts Bar is required.Admission to the New Hampshire Bar is a plus.Skills:Proficient in legal research, case preparation, and litigation strategies.Strong analytical skills for reviewing medical records and preparing cases.Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining collaboration with the team.Familiarity with a paperless office environment and digital case management.Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience.Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k), dental, health, vision, and life insurance.Paid time off and a supportive work environment promoting work-life balance.
