UKG is seeking an Employment Law and Commercial Litigation Attorney to assist with prelitigation and litigation matters primarily relating to employee and customer disputes, as well as to provide counseling on employment law matters, as part of a fun and fast-paced legal team at a dynamic company.
Key Responsibilities May Include
- Advising Human Resources business partners on employment law matters
- Drafting and revising employment agreements, policies, and other employment-related documents
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to investigate and resolve customer and employment disputes with minimal business disruption
- Supporting employment and commercial litigation as necessary
- Managing relationships with outside counsel to ensure high-quality work product and cost-effective services
Basic Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice (preferably in MA, FL or CA)
- 3-5 years of experience in employment law and commercial litigation at a large law firm and/or in-house with a corporate legal department
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
- Experience handling employment and commercial litigation matters
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with dispute resolution a plus
- Excellent legal and business judgment with the ability to provide practical advice
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of software/technology industry preferred

The pay range for this position is $122,600 to $176,250, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
