Job Title: Case Manager Assistant
Type of Position: Full Time
Location: Remote or at EMB Corporate Headquarters in Las Vegas, NV
Hours:   Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Job Description
Core duties and responsibilities include the following.
  • Effectively and efficiently assist their assigned Case Manager using internal systems with the purpose of training to be a CM
  • "Open" a file: Open claims, send letters of representation (LORs), and manage correspondence with clients, insurance, and defendants
  • Assist with the initial investigation of the case, including arranging scene inspection, confirming coverage, performing asset searches, and requesting police reports
  • Request, organize, and itemize medical records and bills from various providers (e.g., hospitals, chiropractors). 
  • Draft and send request letters for records and billing and obtain final account balances. 
  • Open and manage health insurance subrogation claims. 
  • Assist CM with more advanced tasks as needed
  • Special projects and additional duties may be assigned as needed
Qualifications:
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus!
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Unfailing attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal  
  • Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, you should have strong knowledge of either the Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite (spreadsheets, documents, etc.)
