Job description

PPRO is a fintech company that provides digital payment solutions to businesses and banks so that they can scale their local payment services through one connection. Stripe and PayPal are just some of the names that work with PPRO to boost their conversions and eliminate the complexities of local payments.

Since 2006, PPRO has fostered an open working environment where every idea is valued, and continuous improvement is encouraged. Our diverse global team, representing over 50 nationalities across 11 international locations, is united by a single goal to deliver the best products and services to our partners and customers.

Join us and help shape the future of payments.

The Purpose:

Join our dynamic team in the US and play a pivotal role in our fintech scale-up's growth story. As part of our US-based sales team, you'll have the opportunity to source leads, build valuable relationships, and convert exciting opportunities in North and South America.

You will identify, prospect, and sign partnerships with either US-based or global financial services providers and their merchant partners. This is an individual contributor role. You will build and own your pipeline independently, delivering revenue against targets, driving product adoption, and contributing to innovation

Your impact in this role:
  • Responsible for closing new Payment Service Provider (PSP) contracts or Enterprise Merchant contracts
  • Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to converting PSP, Gateway or acquirer/processor opportunities and aid in their growth and development
  • Achieve new business targets, share of wallet growth, profit and customer satisfaction
  • Provide sales training and sales support to the customer when appropriate
  • Work with the Sales Engineering teams to effortlessly onboard new clients
  • Manage alongside the client success and partner marketing teams to deliver customer training and activation sessions
  • Develop customer plans for efficient handover of accounts to Account Management teams
  • Make connections with influencers and decision makers that will lead to opportunities in the short and long term, all while building and maintaining trust

  • What would make you a great fit:
  • Proven successful sales or direct partnership experience in the payments industry
  • Knowledge of the FinTech payments space - A broad view of how and where PPRO fits within the payments ecosystem and how that is strategically important to PPRO’s future positioning
  • Proven record of high performance and achieving outstanding results
  • Commercial, analytical, and quantitative skills are essential, and the ability to leverage data and analytics to back up assumptions, suggestions, and drive actions
  • Strong sense of ownership and demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of productivity with minimal supervision
  • Have great influencing skills and be comfortable engaging with different types of customers including technical, C-level, marketing team and customising messaging based on the audience

  • We'd love to see:
  • A passion for challenging the status quo and driving positive change: We appreciate individuals who proactively seek better ways of doing things
  • Excellent communication skills: You thrive in international environments and can connect with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
  • Flexibility and bias to action. Comfortable taking principled risk and learning from experience
  • What's in it for you?:

Remote working - Experience the freedom of remote working, where you can achieve optimal work-life balance and harness your creativity in a comfortable environment, all while contributing seamlessly to our dynamic team. We also provide a international work from abroad policy, enabling employees to work remotely in different locations for up to another 30 days per year.

Insurance - we want our employees to benefit from various insurances including medical insurance (health, dental and vision), disability insurance, life insurance, and travel insurance.

Gym membership - PPRO helps contribute towards the costs of your gym membership, supporting your physical fitness journey while easing the burden on your wallet

Professional and personal development - We provide leadership cafes, on-the-job training, and access to LinkedIn learning to help you gain knowledge beyond your role. We also offer German language courses to our non native speakers employees.
