Job Description:
GDIT has an opportunity for a Senior ServiceNow Developer to support the modernization and sustainment of a large portfolio of enterprise business solutions used by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The position supports a new program, the NASA Consolidated Applications and Platform Services (NCAPS) which consolidates enterprise-wide applications and platform services across the Agency and supports the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Application Division transformation into the Application and Platform Service (APS) Line with agile based service delivery and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) based service management practices.
The Senior ServiceNow Developer will research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software. The Developer will be involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards. The Developer will evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system elements. The Developer will document testing and maintenance of system corrections.
Responsibilities:
Recommending best solutions to automate existing and new functionality based on ServiceNow offered applications and modules.
Activation and configuration of ServiceNow applications to meet business needs.
Development of workflows and scripts to personalize existing ServiceNow applications.
Development of ServiceNow custom applications from inception to completion to automate and improve processes.
Working closely with customers to research, design, develop and deliver innovative solutions to improve their business processes.
Assisting in the identification of best practices for development of new and existing ServiceNow applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software applications, systems integration, and multiple platforms.
Qualifications:
Required:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline.
Professional Experience: 12 plus years related technical experience.
Public Trust clearance, and ability to obtain higher level, if needed.
Experience with development of ServiceNow Workflows, client, and server-side scripting.
Experience with ServiceNow modules to include but not limited to IT Service Management, HR Service Delivery, IT Financial Management, IT Business Management, Software Asset Management Web service and database experience is a plus.
Experience in preparation of standard operating procedures.
Strong organizational skills.
Desired:
ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator.
Prior experience supporting NASA.
Passion for developing customer-focused solutions.
SAFe and ITIL certifications.

The likely salary range for this position is $106,371 - $141,450. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
