About the role...

Road Scholar is seeking to hire a Web UI/UX Specialist, to support our efforts in improving website performance and user experience. This role will be hands-on, focusing on the tactical execution of web UX tests, personalization strategies, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience with basic CRO tools, a strong interest in web optimization, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven improvements.

This role is ideal for someone starting their career in web UX testing and optimization, with opportunities to learn and grow through hands-on experience and mentorship within the team.

Road Scholar offers a remote-first work environment. The compensation range for this exempt level salaried position is $59,000 - $65,000 based on experience. 

You will...

  •  Tactical Execution of CRO Strategies:
    •  Assist in setting up A/B and multivariate tests to optimize website user experience and conversion points.
    •  Document suggested updates based on test results, working closely with web developers and designers.
    •  Research and execute personalization strategies, leveraging CDP to tailor user experiences.
  •  User Behavior Tracking & Analysis:
    •  Monitor and track visitor activity and website performance through reporting and analysis tools.
    •  Analyze test results to identify trends and areas for improvement, contributing to regular reporting on test outcomes and user behavior.
    •  Generate insights based on data that support UX/UI enhancements and overall site performance improvements.
  •  Collaboration & Coordination:
    •  Collaborate with design, marketing, and development teams to implement tactical website updates.
    •  Provide feedback and suggestions based on testing data to support UX/UI improvements and optimization projects.
    •  Communicate results to relevant teams, ensuring timely and efficient execution of optimizations.
  •  Continuous Learning & Improvement:
    •  Stay up-to-date with web optimization tools and best practices.
    •  Support continuous improvement of CRO and testing processes by contributing ideas and engaging with team members.
    •  Assist in documenting testing processes and ensuring best practices are followed across projects.

 You need...

  •  1-2 years of experience in web optimization, UX testing, or related fields.
  •  4 year degree in Marketing, Statistics, or STEM related field
  •  Basic knowledge of CRO tools (e.g., Optimizely, VWO, or similar platforms).
  •  Familiarity with Google Analytics and UX testing tools like Hotjar or Contentsquare.
  •  Ability to work with data and extract basic insights to inform web optimization efforts.
  •  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
