Duties:                        

Lead technical development of customer software and hardware integration efforts. Support automotive Original Equipment Manufacturers and Tier 1 customers in integrating ADI wireless battery management system solutions and software products into their system. Enable customer integration of wireless products with development of proof-of-concept demos, system prototypes, example software, PC tools and documentation. Validate operation and benchmark performance of the wireless battery management system with specific customer use cases utilizing customized hardware/software in the lab setting. Use subject matter expertise on wireless battery management systems to mentor junior engineers on the team. Synthesize and communicate complex technical concepts both within the organization and in a customer facing setting. Assimilate customer challenges and pain points to help drive new product requirements. Engage in multiple projects simultaneously and set priorities to deliver on schedule. Partial telecommute benefits (2 days per week work from home permitted).

Requirements:                 

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and 3 years of experience as an Electronics Engineer or related occupation performing hardware/software development and validation for automotive wireless battery management system applications.

Special Skills:       

Must also possess experience in the following: (quantitative requirements not applicable to this section)
• Demonstrated expertise (“DE”) developing and integrating Wireless Battery Management Systems (“wBMS”) Software with automotive manufacturers and customers through programming/debugging embedded systems in C/C++;
• DE analyzing the Radio Frequency and network performance of wBMS networks in vehicle and lab settings;
• DE integrating cybersecurity provisioning and optimized manufacturing flows for wBMS to meet automotive manufacturers and customers requirements; and
• DE writing low-level scripts sequencing operation of the battery management devices integrated in wBMS.
