Job Overview

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a highly skilled Sr. Environmental Pipe-lining Project Manager to join our esteemed environmental team at PostJobMatches By WorkStaff USA. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within the USA, provided you meet the necessary qualifications, including experience with FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee various projects from routing and siting to ensuring compliance during construction.
  • Guide teams in conducting environmental studies and preparing permit applications, specifically involving FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documents.
  • Collaborate with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
  • Work in tandem with cross-disciplinary teams, including engineers, legal professionals, and GIS analysts.
  • Engage with the public and stakeholders during hearings and community meetings.
  • Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and forecasting effectively.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and represent the company at industry events.
  • Conduct field evaluations and compliance inspections as required.

Required Skills

  • Expertise in environmental licensing and permitting processes for pipelines.
  • Comprehensive understanding of FERC regulations and related federal environmental guidelines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills coupled with a keen attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of experience in environmental licensing and permitting for pipeline projects.
  • Proven capability in managing both small to mid-sized projects, with budgets ranging from \(25k to \)100k, as well as larger projects exceeding $500k.
