Job Title: Remote Full Stack Engineer (100% Work From Home)


Location: Remote from Latin America


Position Type: Full-time


Salary: ~$4,166.66 USD/month, $50,000 USD a year


Schedule: Monday - Friday, though hours are generally flexible, there are mandatory daily meetings and deadlines that follow Pacific time zone.



Job Overview:

Our client is a meeting optimization platform to help make the most out of meetings you have to attend. Working directly with the Head of Engineering, the FullStack Engineer main focus will be building and implementing new features and be a key contributor to the technical roadmap. This means contributing to the product roadmap by working with our product and engineering teams in the US, Mexico, and Brazil.

This role might be for you if you have a technical background in engineering frameworks such as JavaScript, excel at selecting and developing talent, and are extremely flexible in your approach to engineering. For us, fast is better than perfect. We iterate constantly and fail fast, so we need that to resonate with you!



Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement new features and be a key contributor to the technical roadmap
  • Team up with other engineers to foster solid engineering principles and represent our engineering values
  • Work with languages, technologies, and platforms such as React, Redux, Node, JavaScript/Typescript, Redis, Postgres, AWS
  • Other projects as assigned.


Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies:

  • 3-5 years experience in Software development
  • 2+ years experience in JavaScript/Typescript and a Frontend framework, preferably React / Redux
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in English is required.
  • You are comfortable learning new technologies and systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of web development, with a deep understanding of the JavaScript ecosystem
  • Experience in Object-Oriented Design and Development and test-driven development
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Solid understanding of REST communication


Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with cloud providers such as AWS
  • Experience with web performance
  • Experience with CSS
  • You have gone through a rapid growth in your company (from 10 to 100s of engineers)
