This position offers hybrid or remote work arrangements within the state of California. The ideal candidate will have experience in general liability, professional liability, insurance coverage, and/or other civil litigation matters. This role provides a high level of responsibility, training, and mentorship, making it an excellent opportunity for career growth. California Bar admission is required.Duties:Handle a broad range of civil litigation matters, including general liability, professional liability, and insurance coverage.Draft pleadings, motions, legal briefs, and other litigation documents.Conduct legal research and provide strategic case analysis.Manage discovery processes, including depositions and document review.Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and depositions.Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation.Engage in client communication and provide counsel on litigation matters.Requirements:Experience in civil litigation, including general liability or professional liability.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage cases independently and work effectively in a team.Experience in insurance coverage litigation is a plus.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the California State Bar is required.Skills:Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and analysis.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
