Job Title: Outpatient Nurse (RN/LPN/MA) at Compass Health Network

Job Overview

Are you ready to make a difference in the communities we serve? Compass Health Network is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Nurse to join our exceptional team. In this pivotal role, you will manage a Medication Clinic and serve as a case manager, ensuring our clients receive the high-quality and compassionate care they deserve. With a focus on collaboration, you will work closely with Clinical Doctors and Customer Relations Specialists to meet the needs of our clientele.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize, plan, and coordinate medication clinics
  • Participate in cross-training to assist in various clinics and regions, with travel coordinated by your Supervisor
  • Review medication education forms and client needs for refills
  • Complete essential documentation for medication clinics and psychiatric consultations in the EHR
  • Administer IM medications and maintain accurate logs of medications received and dispensed
  • Assist with prior authorizations and maintain the injection list, including ordering and delivery
  • Conduct vital sign assessments for every client and coordinate pre-diabetes screenings when necessary

Required Skills

  • Proficient in computer use with broad knowledge and experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively coordinate and plan medication clinics

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • A Practical Nursing Certificate or an Associate/Bachelor’s degree in nursing is necessary
  • Must possess licensure/certification as a GPN, LPN, GN, or RN, with the requirement to pass the MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation
