Job description

On behalf of our customer – EDX Medical – we are looking for an Area Manager, Sweden, to independently lead and develop EDX Medical business operations in the Swedish market.

WHAT EDX MEDICAL CAN OFFER

In this role with EDX Medical, you’ll be joining a start-up where trust is the cornerstone - both within the company and in the relationships with patients, doctors, and partners. This is a smaller, dynamic environment where your contribution will have a real and immediate impact.

What makes this opportunity stand out is the chance to truly make a difference, not only by selling a product but by offering a complete solution. cResponse™ delivers fast and precise results, enabling healthcare providers to make timely and accurate treatment decisions. You’ll be working closely with healthcare professionals, contributing directly to better health outcomes for patients.

As part of the team, you’ll play an essential role in building the infrastructure for the upcoming Nordic launch, placing you at the heart of a crucial phase in the company’s growth.

THE COMPANY

EDX Medical Group plc is a UK-based listed company focused on the development of diagnostic tests that enable personalized treatment for cancer, heart disease and infectious diseases. EDX Medical was founded 2021 by Professor Sir Christopher Evans, a prominent medical entrepreneur, along with CEO Dr. Mike Hudson. EDX Medicals trusted diagnostic solutions combine outstanding biological and digital technologies. These digitally enabled products and services can set new standards in risk assessment, personal diagnosis and enable better clinical decision-making.

In addition to advanced laboratory tests, the company scientists in Cambridge and Oxford, UK, are in the late stages of developing a range of tests capable of accurately measuring a combination of multiple disease markers on a single device within minutes. These tests will be used to identify early signs of cancer, infections, and cardio-vascular conditions and can be carried out by health professionals at the point-of-care, wherever they work, without delays and the costs associated with laboratory processing.

THE ROLE

EDX Medical is developing a team of Area Managers in the Nordic countries within the Oncology/Genomics Diagnostic space, who will be the lead point of access to and training in the company’s portfolio of ’digital diagnostics’ products and services – including molecular diagnostics, genomic tools and solutions, for medical professionals and healthcare provider organisations in the country. Area Manager takes the responsibility for starting and further developing EDX Medical business in their country.

This is a fully remote position, but frequent travel (> 50%) throughout the territory and attendance to national congresses and meetings as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

EDX Medical is seeking an experienced and self-driven professional in Sweden to join their Nordic organization and lead the launch and business operations of an innovative testing method focused on personalized cancer treatments.

As the company’s first hire in Sweden, you will work closely with the broader Nordic and UK team, and be fully responsible for local operations, business development, and executing the go-to-market strategy.

Key Responsibilities

-Market Launch & Strategy Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan and market entry strategy for Sweden/Finland, including competitor analysis, regulatory compliance, and identifying key stakeholders such as clinics, pathology and purchasing. The role entails identifying and working with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to adopt and appropriately use EDX Medical products and services, including the provision of test and sample kits at client locations and associated smooth ordering and billing processes.

-Stakeholder Management: Identify, build and maintain relationships with key clinicians and people around them to drive adoption of EDX Medical’s personalized EDX clinical diagnostics solutions. Engage with local patient groups, charities and funding /market access bodies.

-Sales & Business Development: Establish partnerships with healthcare providers, clinics, and other relevant organizations to gain market access and secure adoption and sales of the EDX clinical diagnostics solutions.

-Drive business expansion and collaboration opportunities with the major hospitals in the public and private sector, especially cancer & cardiology centers. Provide training and education on EDX clinical diagnostics.

-Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise closely with the Nordic and UK team and ensure alignment on broader company goals and objectives. Share insights, ensure delivery of exemplary customer service, and coordinate regional efforts with colleagues in other countries.

-Performance Monitoring: Set, track and report performance vs objectives and ensure objectives are met. Continually analyze and report on competitor activities and formulate EDX response.

-Comply with the company policies and code of conduct at all times.

-Represent the company to the highest standards to external constituents at all times.
