Location - Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire or Hampshire

Permanent, full-time

The Quality and Compliance Apprentice role is to develop and implement effective systems to ensure that the service our company provides is fit for purpose, is consistent and meets both external and internal requirements. This includes achievement of legal compliance, contractual expectations, and the needs of interested parties.

More about the role:

  • Monitor and advise on the performance of the quality management system, produce data and report on performance, measuring against set standards.
  • Internal auditing of Management Systems.
  • Liaise with other managers and staff throughout the organisation to ensure that the quality management system is functioning properly. Where appropriate, advise on changes and how to implement them and provide tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality standards.
  • Devising and establishing a company's quality procedures, standards, and specifications. Reviewing existing procedures to ensure they meet the current guidelines
  • Reviewing customer requirements and making sure they are met.
  • Managing investigation and root cause analysis of complaints.
  • Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures which accommodate the wider needs of the business and its systems.
  • Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
  • Identifying and implementing required changes and improvements.
  • Using relevant quality tools and making sure managers and other staff understand how to improve the business.
  • Schedule, coordinate and undertake Quality, Environmental and H&S Management System Internal Audits.
  • Communicate, support, and raise awareness of the documented management system by way of email communication, intranet updates and quality control of the relevant networked areas.
  • Effective document control and record control to demonstrate compliance.
