Position:

Position: NEBDN Tutor (Part Time)

Duration: 5 hours per week - up to £25 per hour

Day/Time: Saturday 09:30 - 14:30

Location: Remote

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and experienced NEBDN Tutor to join our training team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering NEBDN teaching sessions to trainee dental nurses as they work towards their qualification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver online teaching sessions for students of the NEBDN qualification.
  • Fully prepare and plan for each teaching session.
  • Create / update teaching materials as required.
  • Monitor and report on learner progress, identifying areas where additional support may be required.
  • Remain current in your skills and knowledge of the dental sector and legislative requirements.
  • Follow NEBDN QA guidelines.
  • Promote and comply with all current and future Equal Opportunities and H&S legislative requirements.
  • Liaise with employers and other stakeholders to ensure learners receive comprehensive support throughout their training.

Requirements:

What we need from you:

  • Recognised teaching qualification in FE (AET, CET, PTTLS)
  • GDC Registration
  • Dental nurse qualification and experience in the specialism of dental nursing.
  • Strong understanding of the NEBDN qualification requirements and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire learners to achieve their goals.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
