Salary: £35,000 basic annual salary

Based: Huntingdon

Permanent: 37.5 hours a week Monday - Friday

The Opportunity/Role 📢

Reporting to the Data & CI Manager this role will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting logistics data to help improve our supply chain operations. This role will work closely with the logistics and supply chain teams to provide data-driven insights and recommendations, create documentation support standard operating procedures, drive inventory accuracy and transparency, and be an active member of the wider Aliaxis data community. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with senior leaders in transport, manufacturing, customer services, and warehouse workstreams to gather, refine, and analyse data and provide reports to provide transparency of business performances 

  • Ensure accurate flow of information, high degree of stock accuracy, and actively support IBP through capacity reporting 

  • Analyse product flow from material to final delivery, and create connections to the data to allow ready analysis and development of improvement activities 

  • Assist in defining inventory targets and improving processes that drive accuracy and reduce stock variance 

  • Build logistics capability to deliver business improvements through robust reporting and data analysis, providing dashboards and toolkits to users that allow them clear view of the journey and horizon

  • Ensure Health and Safety at all times, setting an example of best practice and adherence to global standards. 

Requirements:

  • A strong data analyst comfortable using ERP, WMS, and MRP alongside Excel, Access, and Power BI to automate processes and provide clear reports across the business 

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment and developing a strong logistics data process in an SME or larger company, with significant experience of driving inventory accuracy 

  • Experience of MS Dynamics AX 

  • Demonstrate effective leadership skills, leading teams through business process changes and site improvement plans
