The attorney will focus on USCIS and USCIS-related immigration cases, conducting consultations with potential clients, and working closely with firm attorneys and paralegals. This role demands strong organizational skills and project management to ensure effective client interactions and timely case preparations.Duties:Explain complex immigration concepts and develop strategic solutions for clients.Manage a diverse workload of immigration cases efficiently.Prepare various immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions.Review and adjust immigration applications/packets as necessary.Collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community organizations regarding changes in immigration law.Conduct strategic consultations with potential clients to determine the best approach for their cases.Develop strategies and prepare clients and witnesses for USCIS interviews.Provide thorough legal analysis to identify potential case benefits for clients.Draft and submit legal briefs for a wide range of immigration cases.Coordinate case strategies with team members to ensure cohesive representation.Maintain organization of case filings and meet critical deadlines.Research evolving legal issues and legislative changes impacting immigration law.Address additional responsibilities as assigned by the firm's partners.Requirements:A Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA Accredited Law School is required.Active Bar License in Good Standing from any U.S. State or territory (including DC and Puerto Rico).Fluency in Spanish is mandatory.1-4 years of immigration experience is preferred.Education:J.D. from an ABA Accredited Law School.Certifications:Active Bar License.Skills:Strong analytical and legal research skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Proficient in managing multiple cases and deadlines.Familiarity with immigration law and procedures.Team-oriented with effective collaboration skills.Job Location:Manassas, VABenefits:Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance.Relocation reimbursement up to $10,000 (forgiven after 6 months).Vacation and Sick Time Off.Performance bonus opportunities.Paid birthday and work anniversary.401K Plan.Paid Parking.Life Insurance.
