Bruker’s BNSM Division is the leader in advanced automated AFM, X-ray, Photomask Repair and WLI metrology for the semiconductor industry. Our customers’ reputations and success depend on our passion for solving their most complex measurement problems. We are looking for a talented engineer or scientist to join our worldwide semiconductor team to introduce and establish AFM metrology technology for the semiconductor industry.

Reponsibilitie

• sProvides technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation, and maintenance of company products
• .Assists customers with assessing potential applications to meet process metrology needs and preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions
• .May build an application based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping and/or product demo for the client
• .May provide follow-up support to company sales staff and customer personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications
• .Works on complex problems where data analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors
• .Develop a strong understanding of competitive technologies and products in the AFM product line
• .Helps to maintain and increase AFM product usage
• .Create, develop, and continuously improve the customer support & applications knowledge database

Educational/Experience Requiremen

• tsRequires Master or Ph.D. in Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, or EE with AFM experience and preferably have knowledge or experience in the semiconductor fabrication industry, or equivalent experience, CMP/Etch process experience is plu
• s.MS or Ph.D. level degree with 0~2 years of experience in relevant field
• s.Technical background in AFM and/or other surface characterization techniques is preferred, like ellipsometry, white light interferometry and OC
• D.Good knowledge in statistics and data analysis. Experience in metrology preferre
• d.Fluent in English and experience in technical writin
• g.Demonstrated oral & written communications and interpersonal relationship skills, particularly intercultural skills, strong customer orientatio
• n.Ability to work and be creative under pressure and with tight deadline
• s.Self-organized and self-disciplined. Ability to work alone and within a team environment to solve problems. Experience working in the semiconductor industry and familiarity with problem analysis and troubleshooting technique
